My First Skein, Hurray!!

Here it is, my first skein that I handspun all by myself, with some good tutoring of course.

Isn't it pretty, I plan to give it some friends soon.

Tomorrow I am taking a break from knitting and Susan and I are going to go and take a spinning lesson. I have only had my wheel for about 4 years now, and I think it is about time to go and start making some use of it.

This is Rowan Summer Tweed, and I LOVE it!!

This is what it is going to become. This is a pattern from the new Spring Rowan Magazine.

This pile is Claudia Handpaint and Gems Opal yarn. 9 multi's and 4 solids.

This is what the pile above is going to grown into. Donna and I are doing this one together. We got this pattern at Stitches Midwest last summer, and are now ready to start.

I am still working on all of my UFO's, and I am about to complete 3 of them so I can start dreaming of my next projects to fill those bags.
